A process you can follow
and repeat.
Improvement is a cycle. We assess where your game is, agree what matters most, build the required skill, test it under pressure and review what happens on the course.
Assess
Build an honest picture from your goals, ball flight, movement and playing patterns.
Prioritise
Choose the change or skill most likely to improve your performance.
Practise
Use clear tasks, feedback and constraints to make the work productive.
Test
Measure the skill in scored challenges and situations that resemble the course.
Review
Use OnForm feedback and on-course evidence to decide the next step.
Know where you are.
Know what comes next.
The Full Game Assessment gives us a clear picture of your game and a practical plan for your next steps. We combine what the ball does with how you move and what happens on the course.
Whether you are aiming to break 90, find more fairways or compete at a higher level, the work starts with your own goals.

Your development continues
between sessions.
The lesson gives us direction. What you practise, what you notice and what you share afterwards help us keep your development moving. Feedback and communication are an essential part of working together.
Keep your coaching in one place
Session reviews and our ongoing communication are recorded in the OnForm app, so you can revisit your feedback and stay clear on what you’re working on.
Know what we both commit to
You receive a Player & Coach Accountability Document. It sets out our shared responsibilities and gives your development a structure to follow between visits.
Share how practice is going
Use OnForm to share practice updates, videos and questions. Your feedback helps us understand what is working, address difficulties and decide the next step together.
“The golfers I’ve seen make the most progress keep in contact between sessions. They share what’s happening in practice, ask questions and use the feedback.”

Worth travelling for a clearer plan.
Robbie King Golf is based at The Carrick Golf Course near Loch Lomond, serving committed golfers from Glasgow, Dumbarton, Helensburgh and across the West of Scotland.
The setting allows coaching to move between measurement, purposeful practice and the golf course. TrackMan, 4D Motion, HackMotion and Smart2Move force plates help answer specific questions, while the practice facilities and course let us test whether improvements transfer.

Robbie King
I’m the Head PGA Teaching Professional at The Carrick. My coaching starts with the golfer in front of me: what you want to achieve, what your ball is doing and which skills will make the biggest difference to your scores.
Technology helps us see the picture more clearly. TrackMan, 4D Motion and Smart2Move force plates provide useful feedback, but the goal is always practical improvement you can take onto the course.

If you’d rather talk through your game first, email me and tell me your current handicap, your goals and what you most want to improve.
Email RobbieDo I need to join a plan straight away?
No. Start with an assessment. We can then discuss whether ongoing coaching makes sense for your goals and diary.
Where does coaching take place?
At The Carrick Golf Course on Loch Lomond. Sessions can include the practice facilities and, where arranged, on-course work.
Who is ongoing coaching for?
Golfers who are serious about developing their game, willing to practise and ready to communicate between sessions. Your commitment matters more than your handicap. If past lessons haven’t led to lasting progress, we’ll start by understanding your experience and what your game needs.
What support do I get between lessons?
Your session reviews and ongoing communication are recorded in OnForm. Share your practice updates, videos and questions there so we can discuss your progress. You also receive a Player & Coach Accountability Document to guide our work together.
